Obama's Executive Order Duration.......

Apparently the EO is good for a period of 3 years, so does this open the door for it to sunset if the next executive doesn't extend or legislation is passed extending the work authorizations?
So on the 3rd year and first day these folks "go back to the shadows" and "aren't right with the law"? Is President Obama telling them they are no longer documented and should thus get on the floor of the immigration process?
in closing everybody walk the dinosaur

The next President can revoke all of Odumbf*ck's EOs the moment he is sworn in. The three year duration is a complete joke.

The next President can rescind the order, moreover, the SCOTUS can as well.
I understand that, but that is not what the thread is about

Obama is hoping for one of two things to occur. Either immigration reform is passed, or a Democrat wins the next election.
When the EO ends, it ends... If something hasn't been done as it pertains to immigration reform, or those workers haven't yet received green cards, they will, in theory, become illegal again. It's a reason why few are likely to take advantage of it.
It will be an issue in the next Election, however.
If a Republican wins the next Election and the EO ends or is rescinded, I'm sure there will be lawsuits filed on behalf of any illegal immigrants who took advantage of Obama's EO. That doesn't mean I believe they would win.
