In regards to getting local fan support...
Everybody on this board loves basketball. Thats why we are Pelicans fans. They are the basketball team we have. Saints fans arent just people that love football. Have you ever been to a Saints game? Half the people there have no idea what the frick is going on. They go there because, almost like no other team has, the Saints put the city on their back. When guys become Saints they embrace everything about this place.
Winning is definitely 95% of what puts arse in the seats, but if we want to have people there regardless of record, the organization needs to bond with the city. It takes time, and effective effort.

I'm not bashing the city and their support. What are we in the mid teens right now? That's fantastic considering we haven't done crap since Paul left. I'm simply stating that if you are going to go to a few games a year, consider trying to make the national games as they're more important than a locally televised game. I have friends that make around 5-6 per year, and I will try to steer them towards those games if they can. It's the little things that hopefully can add up.
