Read this and explain to me how Darren Wilson is not charged with something

My first thought is that the witness accounts are all over the place, and maybe that's how a no-true-bill results.
But multiple witnesses say they were at a distance and not at close range when the kill shots were fired. The alleged struggle over the weapon had ended after the first shot was fired, and nobody has said Wilson had reason to believe Brown had a weapon.
idk. Maybe people are getting all "wee-weed up" for no reason and there will be an indictment. Perhaps all the leaks were a "just in case."

I assume you are the downvote, so why don't you play ball here?

I don't know enough to say what did or did not happen.
My best guess:
Wilson is an a-hole cop that MAY have acted precipitously.
Brown was an a-hole thug that MAY have acted provocatively
There is a legal process and a grand jury that will have heard much more evidence and I'll respect their decision.
However, in any case, acting like a wild pack of criminal assholes is a bad look (for both sides)
ETA: I didn't vote at all and have NEVER down voted anyone

Look up Tennessee v. Garner, 471 U.S. 1 (1985)[/i
[i]Law enforcement officers pursuing an unarmed suspect may use deadly force to prevent escape only if the officer has probable cause to believe that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others.

Considering how cops almost always get off, I will assume he is not indicted. And I really have little to no respect for our judicial system.
I am going to bet there will be some sort of meta analysis in a few weeks, I will likely respect that much more than the grand jury.
As to whether he should be charged with something....when I first heard the story, I thought probably yes. After hearing the next wave of information, I thought probably not. Now I have no real idea what happened that day, and likely never will.
I can totally see why the residents of ferguson will be fricking pissed off if he is not indicted but I wont really care.

ocho, the first issue in this case is whether the guy was, in fact, fleeing at the time he was killed, or whether he was, as some have said, charging at Wilson. Two way different scenarios, each of which puts the case on a different side of Garner.

Me too, there are a bunch of out of towners there ready to destroy their city because they are uncivilized people. I definitely would be pissed if I was a resident there.

If the cop did something wrong, people shouldn't have a problem with him getting what he deserves.
I have a problem with those defending Michael Brown (or the cop) without even knowing the facts.

Where are the bullet entry points on his body again?

I pretty much agree with you here, but to the extent the residents think Wilson shot the guy because of his race, I think they have no basis in fact (specific to Wilson) to think that.
If they think Wilson got off because he's a cop, well, no fricking shite. Welcome to civilization.

that too.
I could see getting pissed off if you think the system is biased against you, and that very well could be the case.
I think they might be backing the wrong horse, but I see why they are backing that horse.
And honestly most people on the opposite side wouldn't change their mind no matter what.

Where did you get this? I dont see that in the article
Also, we don't know what the jury members are being told. It doesn't matter what we read about the case, because we don't hear directly from the witnesses as the GJ will.

Entry wounded were on the front of the body in the forearms and head, IIRC, with the wounds being consistent with him rushing Wilson at the time.

Mostly, if not all, the front of his body, which obviously suggests he was not fleeing.
So that gets us out of Garner. Then the question becomes whether hte shooting was justified at the time the shots were fired. Was he coming at Wilson? From how far away? Should Wilson really have thought Brown posed a risk of serious bodiliy injury or death to him if he had only "stumbled" toward him, as some have said.
None of us can really know. I am just trying to predict based on the reported witness statements (not under oath, I note).
Who knows. These folks may have testified differently under oath.

What have you read that it was more consistent with rushing than simply facing him.
Head down could = rushing or it could = joining Versace in the great fashion show in the sky.

I almost want to see him indicted so we can see what celebratory looting looks like.
