Your argument in a vacuum would be a sound one. Unfortunately it falls apart when applying it to LSU. Jennings hasn't shown the ability to go through his progressions. He locks onto receivers. His ability to read defenses is limited to sending a man in motion to verify zone or man coverage. He isn't picking up blitzes and checking down to the safety valve. He doesn't audible or make checks at the line. The entire team looks to the sideline at play cards after the defense sets. LSU's offense is extremely dumbed down in that regard (I happen to agree with that approach btw). Most everything that you have listed are things this coaching staff has either gone out of its way to minimize or Jennings has shown to be incapable of.
