Flu shots are for babies and old people. I've had the flu 2-3 times in my life (23 years old) and it rarely lasted for more than 48 hours. I got the flu shot 1 time in college and that's the year I got the flu. I'll take my chances.

All it takes is catching a bad strain of the flu once and the people in here saying they won't get it will change their mind quick.

That is the dumbest logic ever

That's some great Anecdotal evidence there. I'm sure the CDC will revise their flu shot recommendation based on your experience.

Spoken like someone who really has no idea what the flu is. It is likely that you just got a bad cold.
The simple fact is a bad cold is not the same thing as the flu. People all the time say they have the flu when in fact they have a bad cold. There is a difference.
And why would you take your chances? Let's say you get the flu. Do you know any old people or very young people? They don't tolerate the flu as well as younger people. Do you hate everyone else? You are not only taking your chances but you are making everyone else around you take those chances as well.
Not a smart decision any way you look at it.
