Which finger?
What does that matter? Two fingers on one hand and one on the other
Well, if it is your hole finger, you probably don't want to take my advice. It'll not make you very popular with the females as it makes your finger really rough.
Put some superglue on it. This will seal it up and toughen the skin.
If it's your hole finger and you use this method, get some rough lesbian friends and profit.

I put a drop of liquid super glue on the splits. It seals the crack and relieves the pain almost immediately. Then it stays in place until cracks heal.

My granddaddy used this stuff called corn huskers. I think it's better than aquaphor

Mine crack like hell, super glue does definitely help. I wish I could find something that would help that doesn't feel so greasy.

Try jmcrazys pussy juice. Works for most of the outdoor board.

I will try super glue. I have nothing to lose after all.

If you have eczema there are treatments for that but normally if you have this problem just in winter then it's due to very dry hands. Moisten them often. Those lotions you see for hand moisturizers? Yeah, that stuff. It's best to use as often as needed before your skin cracks.
Someone suggested warm salty water and that probably will help, plus it'll be safe with existing cracks. Real saline solution is probably best. But true moisturizer will last longer.
You might also consider picking up a humidifier for the bedroom.

Super glue them cracks. Seriously
This^^^. Mine split big time. I was out of town this past weekend and had a big fricker open up on the tip of my thumb. I was pissed that I didn't have my super glue with me. If you wait too long and the skin dries too much, it's hard to push it back closed to super glue it back together. But if you catch them early it's a life saver.

I've gotten staph infection in cracks like that before. It's something you need to take care of quickly. Cold weather makes my hands crack open and the rest of my skin go to shite, and it can cause some real issues.

If you can't stand the feel of lotion on your hands, apply the lotion heavily, and put on non powdered latex gloves when u sleep. Fingers will soften up quickly. Epsom salt soak in warm water before lotion will also help.
