You should realize he was talking about last year...hence 2013 being the year he referenced. This is 2014. Your misunderstanding is and reaction to that is laughable...really it is.

You mean the same Gary Crowton for whom the negatigers bought a one-way ticket out of Baton Rouge? Early onset of Alzheimers?

JJ as a sophomore played much better than AJ as a sophmore. Both had 2 years of tutelage under their mentor.

Maybe JJ> Jennings

he is at least a lot more physically gifted.

Honestly Jennings has never looked as good as JJ. Even as a freshmen, JJ tore GTech Appart. Jennings basically gave Iowa one of their only scores.

I think Cam is more willing to shut down a shitty passer than Crowton was.

he really let JJ rip in 2010, and he was shitty as hell.

One thing is for sure, we have been through 3 Offensive Coordinators and we still have the same shitty offense and poor QB play. That leaves one person to blame for our sorry arse offense.

Thank you! How no one sees Miles is making the game plans and play calling is beyond me.

Here we go.....07 had a 5th year senior qb.......13 doesnt. 07 was a dominantly upper class man team....13 is one of the youngest in the country. ....should I stop now or keep going.....your point is laughable really it is

Mett was also a 5th Yr Sr. Flynn only had one start before '07. Mett had an entire year.

'07
Doucet - Sr (but missed some games)
LaFell - So
Byrd - Jr JUCO transfer
Ciron - So
Herm - Jr
Helms - Jr
Hitt - So
Carnell - Sr (1st yr playing OL)
Dickson - So
Hester - Sr/Johnson - Jr
Jordan - Sr
Flynn - Sr

'13
OBJ - Jr
Juice - Jr
Dickson - Jr/Gordon - So
Collins - Jr
Vadal - So
Porter - Jr
Turner - So
Hawkins - RS Fr
Mett - Sr
JC - Sr
Hill - So

'07 had 8/11 upper classmen
'13 had 7/11 upper classmen

Not that much difference. Moreover, you can do the math but my guess would be '13 had more cumulative years starting than did '07 (which had 4 - Doucet, Ciron, Herm, Hester - add another yr or 2 if you feel I'm slighting things here.)

You didn't really think you could sally in here with this ad hominem stuff and get away with it did you?

So again: '07 O w/ Crowton >> '13 O w/ Cam - just sayin'.

neither can develop a quarterback out of high school. Either can take an experienced quarterback that has had some success and coach him up.

Against the Rebels and the Crimson Tide, LSU averaged 332.5 yards on offense. In that same timeframe, Anthony Jennings completed 16 total passes. By comparison, Zach Mettenberger had seven games in 2013 where he completed as many or more passes.

In its last three games, LSU has put the ball in the end zone a grand total of two times. That has never happened under Miles, which includes the four seasons that Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee rotated in and out after a brief cameo by Andrew Hatch.

The last time that happened? The first three games in 1993 – Curley Hallman’s second to last season at LSU.

Brandon Harris has been on the field for 15 plays since his ill-fated first start against Auburn.

3 Things should be noted.

1) Cam is given way too much credit for last year's development of Mett. He did help him, but game experience, coaching from Kragthorpe in 2012 and swagger started to build up for him towards the end of the season (2nd half of Bama game on).

Another key factor was our top 2 WRs learned to catch the freaking ball consistently. Drops killed Mett that year.

Also was the emergence of Hill at running back. He shifted the entire offensive style and it changed the offense.

2) Cam hasn't developed a raw QB in how many years at the collegiate level. Being able to coach up NFL QBs or developed QBs doesn't take the same type of skills as coaching up players fresh out of high school. Crowton had the same issues after Flynn left.

3) This offense doesn't fit either QB's skillset at all, and that is on Cam or Les, whomever you choose to blame.

I think Cam is just overrated last year, especially seeing as how LSU's offense developed one WR (partially in Dural) and no legitimate TE last year.

Ok ok my bad I miss read the year but that changes nothing.

03 6152 total yards
13 5893 total yards

Looking at the schedules and defensive rankings of teams each year played gives 13 the advantage. 5 seniors verses 2 is a big deal too. Plus 03 played in two overtime games. At best they are equal......just saying

It's not like Crowton has a history of sputtering offenses wherever he goes, or fanbase that are happier to see him leave rather than sadder to see him stick around.
