Fight me irl

If you read the fight thread, you would know that this was not a good idea. I did have a 500/1 when I was younger that was really good. I sold that though. Also had a 500a2 Rockford that was a really good amp. I definitely don't need that much power on a 6.5" subwoofer, and I don't want overwhelming bass either. I just want it to all around sound better

I'm guessing he's lowering the truck to about 1" off the ground... gotta be careful you don't destroy the neon lights when you go over speed bumps and stuff.
And you want to get the chip that controls the neon lights to oscillate in time to the music.

If you already know the answers and want to disagree with every suggestion why did you start the thread?
Just go out and install your old shitty stuff and be happy with it.

go with image dynamics with zapco amps if you want real sound quality. sorry but unless its extremely high end boston, then it will not touch image dynamics.
it will be an upgrade no doubt but you can do better for the money.
btw frick everyone hating about wanting quality sound. I will be upgraded mine soon. Like you I don't want to rattle windows or anything like that, but I want to be able to listen to music the way it is suppose to sound.

quote:Yes, it is the best that they sell, or at least was when I bought it. Don't know what they have available now.

Main point of the thread was to see if I needed anything else on the install to keep everything except the sound exactly like it was stock

I can understand wanting better sound, but I don't get why anyone would need to go any louder than what the factory speakers are. And I have a 2004 tahoe with the bose system and never go past 25% volume. although a tahoe may have more speakers than a silverado.

sorry I didn't realize you already had all this. Yes you should be fine. If you don't mind me asking, why are you replacing the stock head unit? it makes sense if its a low grade one, but if its a nav screen, it would be much better to just use a signal processor.

I have a brand new 1794 tundra, with the jbl system(the best toyota makes) and its not nearly loud enough for me.

It is the stock Bose radio/CD player/tape deck one from 04, and the CD player doesn't work at all.
I am also planning on a backup camera, but haven't decided if I want it in the mirror or on the dash.

How much louder do you need to hear (insert shitty rap and/or bro country)?
Posted on 11/17/14 at 4:50 pm to Jizzamo311
I don't listen to any of that, so zero loud. Other than at a bar, I haven't listened to rap in 5 years, and never liked bro country
