Sure the defense was awesome. But we also averaged 39 points a game until JJ came back. That had to have helped the defense as much as the defense helped the offense.

Give the guy a little credit. He did more than just set the pick-6 record.

I am not saying he was bad, he was steady and above mediocre for us in 2011. But to say he was responsible for 2011 is like saying the defense was responsible for 1/9/12. Simply not true.

The defense scored so many points for us that season, as did special teams. CONSTANTLY got us in great field position.

Yeah JL made the Alabama Hall of Fame as one of the top Bama qbs ever.

Lee's offenses avarged 35.8, including the 9-6 game that he contributed nothign to.

JJ's averaged 35.4, including 21-0, but not including points scored prior to his taking over as starter at Western Kentucky.

After Jefferson regained the starting role, we scored:

42
52
41 (against #3 Arkansas)
42 (against #12 UGA)

The only game we didn't route was Alabama in the NC and we all saw how Lee fared against the Tide in the first game.
