Our fans vs. Arkansas

We have criticized everyone from A to Z. We have fired coaches. We have downed young men. We have blamed refs. We have called for the heads of the SEC, our AD. We have blamed Duke. NOW ... let's look at ourselves.
HOW MANY people would have filled up Tiger Stadium for a full game in that weather when our last SEC win was sometime in 2012?
I have to hand it to those Hog fans. They are loyal. They stood by a team that almost beat a lot of people. We cried in our soup when we almost beat BAMA last week and couldn't get off the carpet for the next week.
Tiger Stadium would have been a ghost town last night if that had been our team.
WISH we all supported our guys like those Arkansas folks did...
GOTTA hand it to them. They (although a few were in great need of dental work) stood loyal and supportive to a team.
We seem to eat our own young.
I know because we are all upset that this will draw some really nasty and critical remarks. We are all looking for someone to spew our venom on. We might, however, want to look at our fan base as well...... Our mirror might find room for improvement.
Forever LSU!

The "fans" that attend now dont come when the weather is beautiful.

LSU fans watched from home drinking hot chocolate just like the players did. Everyone... watched.... and drank hot chocolate and sang Christmas carols. It was beautiful, except the arse kicking for 3 hours.

Agreed. We used to be that way.

Nobody eats their own like LSU
We probably need at 4 win season to appreciate winning again.

I'm pretty young so I don't recall what games at Tiger Stadium were like in the 90's but I have a feeling they would show out for a rivalry game just as Arkansas did. Go Hogs! Beat Ole Piss!

It would be hard to blame the fans giving up on the team after Alabama when the players themselves have. I tried to convince myself we wouldn't come out feeling sorry for ourselves after losing our superbowl a week prior, and I made the trip. That was on par with 1-9-12 as far as embarrassing offensive performances go. 38 rushing yards when we insist on pounding the ball. We don't have any pride. Our season lives and dies with the Alabama game. The coaches, players, and fans all share this mentality. It's pathetic.

This thread could use more cowbell.

I think another fan base attending the Arkansas-LSU game could use a little dental work as well.

quote:Because they saw their team getting better each week. Arkansas's conference record this year is not indicative of how good and physical they really are.
They stood by a team that almost beat a lot of people.
LSU on the other hand has not improved on offense. To make matters worse the coaches continue to run the same plays in the same situations expecting different results.

Those Arkansas fans, I tell ya'! They sure do know how to pull for a bunch of losers! (who beat the piss out of us) Those fans deserve a certificate, or something.

Shrink our stadium to 73,000 and it will stay full
