2 plays from bama game that really stood out and I'm surprised no gifs have been made already.
1. Debo posing (flexing) while downing the ball at the 1. Maybe add a "deal with it"
2. Lamar Louis absolutely destroying the bama fullback on the Yeldon fumble.
Preople good at the Internet make these gifs happen please.

If LSU had held on, I'd be on board, but........

Maybe I'll ask the fark board. Less butt hurt over there.

So you want someone to dig through hours of game film in their own free time to find those two very specific plays?
I will concede that at least one will be relatively easy to find.
However, you might have a bit more success if you at least learn how to do this.

Lamar Louis was destroying the best receiving te in the country. That was not a fb but still was incredible.

Someone please explain why that play didn't result in a touchback.

I second that. Always thought of momentum took you into the endzone it was a touchback.

Thanks buddy, Debo with some style points.

I didn't understand why Debo didn't toss the ball onto the field. Thought for sure he erred.

Play is dead as soon as the player gains possession. He clearly had possession prior to going into the endzone.

Not quite. Player needs to be established in the field of play and he was still moving.

The rule says nothing about remaining in the field of play. I've seen this call in college several times.
quote:
Catch or Recovery by Kicking Team
ARTICLE 6. a. If a player of the kicking team catches or recovers a scrimmage kick that has crossed the neutral zone, the ball becomes dead (A.R. 6-3-1-IV). The ball belongs to the receiving team at the dead-ball spot, unless the kicking team is in legal possession when the ball is declared dead. In the latter case, the ball belongs to the kicking team.

Because that was the same red that was going to call the ball down on the 1 on the previous punt when a ref came from the other side of the field and called it a touchback. He wasn't going to wait and let that happen again.

make-up call from last punt which should have not been touchback?

If he were at like the five, and did the same thing, would his momentum moving let him down at the 2 where he winds up or the 5 where he caught it?
The rule has to be right where he gains possession or it would allow the kicking team to further advance the ball.
