2004 MPSA playoffs. It was in the mid 30's at kickoff and close to freezing by the end of the game. I was a freshman and played just enough to get sweaty which made it worse.

I whitewater kayak a lot, the best time of the year is the winter in the NC mountains bc of the rain and river levels. Coldest - 18 degrees.
