You guys are nuts with this ref conspiracy thing.

8. Don't remember them and a face mask falling off seems to be happening with regularity now.
Who is nuts? Not one person in their right mind would look at that play and say no face mask. I wouldn't call it a game changer, as his progress was stopped, but it was a foul.
His facemask was ripped off. But because our facemasks are designed to breakaway when stressed, its no big deal?
It was a poorly officiated game no matter how you slice it. Now, you can argue that it may not have been the reason we lost, but it was poorly officiated on both sides and LSU got the worst of it.

solid post, it was clear the refs were against us...

For context purposes.. you can see the full shove in the gif, and you can see where it begins (with the ball being thrown) in the still frame below the gif.

SEC refs have Lost all creditability

1. Why didn't Miles take a timeout to give them time for a replay, yet never even used the timeout to end the game?
2. Bad call, but players shouldn't but everyone knows the second guy gets called most times in that situation.
3. Bama players are all off the line, what's your point? RB was never covering anyone up.
4. This is just stupid. You do realize you can jam a receiver within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage right? You also realize that you can't even get the situation right in that we were tied 7-7 at that point right before half, and they took a 10-7 lead into halftime there.
5. Total BS call, agreed.
6. Should never have come to that and why we ran 2 straight fades and 4 straight passing plays when we were running on them much of the game I'll never know.
7. Bad spots happen, and it sucks.
8. Missed facemasks happen and I doubt the refs saw it given it happened under a pile.
9. Questionable, but that's what a great coach does. I didn't see Mile complain once that aggressively to the officials in game like Saban did.
10. You just repeated the same play.
LSU has no one to blame but themselves for losing that game, and it starts at every level, but especially with Miles and the coordinators + Peveto. This game showed Miles' and Chavis' flaws being exposed once again, it's not rocket science.

I said it years ago and will say again as long as the SEC office sits in downtown Birmingham 55 miles from Tuscaloosa, the SEC will never offer true fairness to the other schools .. Arkansas got fricked to the be refs against BAMA ., this is not just against Bama

Fox sports has been hammering SEC officiating all year. We are not the only ones that notice this .. Arkansas got hosed on a call against the gumps this year As well

Look a few posts up. You can't jam him if the ball is being thrown. It was clearly illegal.

quote:Agreed. He seemed lost during that last 50 seconds. Game was moving too fast for him I guess.

You are 100% right on #3. That running back wa not set even a quarter of a second. Great find.
He actually never became set pre-snap. The ball was snapped and halfway to the QB before he assumed his stance.
