The crowd was really tight last night. The ole miss game was a much looser environment. The noise level reflected this.

i agree. there were times when I didn't yell because I was too nervous to even do anything

Absolute fricking bullshite to the highest goddamn degree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your assertion does NOTHING to address the HUNDREDS of "fans" I witnessed between Sections 215-216 sitting down when our defense was on the field. A handful of these same "fans" had the temerity to suggest that I needed to sit down more often and were incredulous whenever I'd turn to them during 3rd down plays when LSU was on defense & ask 'em to stand up & yell.

Blame the product on the field all you want, but that game last night went to OT. When it's that close, you do your part as a Tiger fan in the stadium to influence the outcome by being as loud as a fricking airplane if you can. All the post-game chatter on the concourses leading out of Section 215 blew my mind: I couldn't even talk after the game my voice was so blown out from yelling.

Uh, I seem to remember to remember them showing some person with some kind of decibel reader during a long timeout and it was still hitting 100 decibels.

Maybe some of you sit around some really sh*tty fans. I don't know...

You people apparently were not in the student section. Everyone around me yelled the whole game

Not true, student section wasn't anywhere CLOSE to as loud as Ole Miss

It is correct that the crowd at the Ole Miss game was loader and had more energy than the crowd at the Alabama game. I thought that the crowd last night was going to be absolutely crazy and was surprised to see that it was less intense than the crowd at the Ole Miss game. I wouldn't say that the crowd didn't do its part--rather, the crowd was load but not up to the Ole Miss crowd.

Sounded pretty freaking loud on the "F*** you, Saban" chant. Not that I liked hearing that, but anyway...

Well the defense was on the field 1/3 of the time. So for the 40 minutes we were on offense we needed to be calm.

I could definitely tell a difference from the student section. Texted my buddies about it during the game.

Hit 104. Ole Miss would have been 110 easily.

Y'all can call BS all you want, but there just wasn't that intensity that you felt in 2012 BAMA and 2014 ole miss.

Ole Miss game was louder, but last night was really fricking loud too. But you're completely wrong for saying the crowd didn't do their part. We were yelling our arse off the entire game.

But this is Alabama. The same guys who took a NC from us and got a mulligan to get in the game. The cheating team that always has the refs on their side. As much as some want to deny it, they're our biggest rivals now and the crowd should be completely insane. Ole Miss just became relevant. We should have been even louder for the alabama game.

It's like the crowd forgot who we were playing.
