I agree with that to a degree. Over the course of a season, yes your offense should be balanced. But our gameplan last night for THAT particular team was good enough to win. Sometimes you win games without balance. Heck, we dominated time of possession and many other statistics. So, I'm not sure that not being balanced is why we lost. I really believe we lost because Alabama is a more composed PROGRAM that we are, when it comes to big games.

Yes our gameplan was good enough to win, but is "good enough to win" what we want? With a balanced offense, I am confident that we would have won the game last night in regulation by at least a touchdown. We pounded the ball all night on Alabama when they knew that that's exactly what we were going to do. Just think if we had the "element of surprise": passing.
