In the history of the Tiger Rant, the backup qb is always a legend and should always play.

You're an idiot if you believe this barring an injury to Jennings.

ETA: or at least an early pair of int's. I dont think we give him that chance though. He'll err on the side of caution if we do. Either way it probably isn't happening.

He still leads the team in Td's and almost overcame a 3 TD deficit in under 3 minutes.

sorry OP...I don't think its happening.
I think our run game will be strong and I amg hoping AJ can make a couple of throws when we need them.

I think if Harris gets significant time it's because AJ is hurt, or LSU is losing big.

He won't play much unless Jennings gets dinged up. And on a normal game week, I would agree that Harris won't see the field. However, coming off a bye week, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Harris come in to run a set package for a handful of plays.

My reasoning is simple- the QB run will be key to a win. This offense has to find ways to make some plays, and both QBs have the mobility to do it. However, if AJ runs too much, there is definitely a risk of injury against this Bama D. Letting Harris carry some of the load can help with that.

Les has gotten a little more aggressive against the Tide the last 2 years, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Harris and Jennings in together for a trick play at a point when Saban won't be expecting it. I would also put money on there being an on side kick at some point in the first 3 quarters.

I say three: BH is clearly not ready for sideline play calls. So you train him up on on several readymades (run run short pass) and have him warm and confident.

There is no way that Harris should have sniffed the field for more that one or two plays a game this year, excluding the cupcakes. He is not ready.
