To the point. Dems pushed hard to transform the US into something not wanted. On the national level, they were rejected. On a state level, it was even worse.

The Republican wave that swept over the states left Democrats at their weakest point in state legislatures since the 1920s.
Everything went in the direction of the GOP as Republicans seized new majorities in the West Virginia House, Nevada Assembly and Senate, New Hampshire House, Minnesota House and New York Senate, The West Virginia Senate is now tied.

Republicans have taken control of the Colorado senate and the New Mexico house. They also have a chance to win the Colorado house and the Washington house, after mail-in ballots are finally counted.
The lone bright spot for Democrats was holding majorities in the Iowa Senate and Kentucky House.

New York state democrats got a can of pringles shoved up their asses all over the state. That's how bad last night was for dems.

This part sucks though because you know they are likely going to be complete assholes when it comes to Rand Paul possibly running for President and retaining his senate seat at the same time.

It's an opportunity for republicans to expand their grass roots and base.
But first things first... handle the things you were sent their to do. Every last republican knows exactly what they ran on. Now just go do it. If Obama veto's and acts alone, the nation will respond in 2016.
On a state level, remember the huge push for a convention of the states. They are more excited after the election
All in all.... the people of the US are really sick of liberalism/socialism.

It's amazing watching the American electorate work.

It's what happens when democrats pushed Allison Grimes hard in Kentucky. It got enough of their base to the polls to keep a share of the Kentucky State Legislature.
