They should tell you your grade, it's not a secret. If your annual bonus target is 10%, it's grade 5, 15%, grade 4. Similar to classification levels or engineer levels depending on where you're coming from.

I have a number in the online application as well. They called and said it was too high, so I revised down a bit. They matched new number on offer (I had a Gr4 and Gr5 offer, they matched on Gr4).

Are you getting a signing bonus? I did not, but considered using that as my leverage for additional negotiation power since I lost my position on salary. TD convinced me not to and take it and run. However, you will get 0% match on your 401k and a pro-rated annual bonus your first year.
