re: Will LSU be more motivated than Alabama?

this game can't be as big for them as it is for us
It's senior night. It's our last chance to make a statement against a quality team. (A&M and Arkansas can play well at times, but no one is going to be impressed with a win in either game.)
Alabama might be more in a "play not to lose" mindset. If they're going to play that way in a game, this will probably be the one.
I don't think there is anything quite like playing an undefeated #1 team (edit) in November, and both teams will leave everything on the field in the Iron Bowl of course.

This makes ZERO sense...... They HAVE to win this game for the other games to really mean anything to them.........
Players look ahead even when coaches tell them not to. It's human nature.... Come in thinking "we got this"

Alabama played better than they should have in 2007 and in the BCS championship. LSU played better than they should have in 2008 and 2009. You can argue they did about as one should have expected in the other games, although Alabama's last third of the game last year was much better.

They won't be thinking, "this is that supposedly intimidating team that I've heard about constantly all season."

So basically BOTH teams will be motivated the same... AGAIN I am not sure why this thread was needed??????

People have been talking about how good Alabama is for 5 years. Seriously?
That wasn't what I was trying to convey anyway. I'm saying that Alabama isn't going to feel that way about LSU.

You're just not adding anything except to be devil's advocate, which you're not even very good at.
Everything is not for your personal amusement. If it's not an interesting post to you, you might want to try skipping it.
Have a great day!

How am I doing this??? I just said that Bama will be just as motivated as LSU... YOU have proven NOTHING that says they won't.....

LSU has lost 3 straight to Alabama, which cost LSU a national championship and an SEC title berth. Snapping the streak should be all the motivation LSU needs. Alabama is not a very good team this season; they're mediocre at times. Defeating Alabama this seasons won't be as big of a victory as it would have been in previous seasons. This year pits one of Miles' worst LSU teams versus one of Saban's worst Alabama teams. Not much to brag about this year if either side wins in my opinion.

Because the other 793 threads you spew your constant negative whining in were not enough; you needed ONE more chance to get your insightful message across?
