Yes, your old DL, not a student ID. It's not a valid form of ID to change your DL, so it shouldn't be a valid ID to cast a vote.

So you voted in a state you were not a resident of or did you simply change districts within the same state?

Right, but that won't work in texas. You have to have your DL with your current address, they won't accept a bill and your old DL, like they would for getting a DL which is ridiculous.

It was a different state. Since i lived there full time, i considered myself a resident. I filed taxes under that state. I simply didn't have a DL.
