Jeremy Hill is a better overall back.

Hill did not play until his second year out of HS so he was physically more mature when he was a TF. He appears to have a quicker burst than LF at this point but LF is more capable of pushing a pile IMO. Also, I think JH was the beneficiary of better perimeter blocking by the WR's in his two years, though that area for this Tiger team is showing improvement as of late. But the most important factor for JH in my view is that he benefitted from having a future NFL QB throwing passes all over the field and on any down.

I dont think Its hating on fournette to say that jeremy hill is better than him. He was better than just about every runningback in the country at the 2nd level.
His vision is better than fournette. Fournette is still a good back.

Fournette is different. He looks different, acts different and has some serious physical tools. The catch on the seam route against Nkimdiche was effortless. Attn grabber for sure! Has he even limped once? Which is remarkable at his age against these teams. He's knocking them around.

But Hill was tremendous. He made a big play every game it seemed and always had a good game if given the work. No matter the opponent, his game was different.
He was the most dependable offensive player that i can recall. Kevin Faulk was certainly in that class.
There have been several times that Hill wouldve taken a play to the house that was a 4 yard gain this yr. Outstanding burst, balance and vision. Think about that for a second. Not the toughest inside short yardage guy, by if given the work was going to make a huge play. Difference maker.

Jeremy HIll is an all time great. LF is no where near that league yet. When he gets a 100 on an alltime Gump D, then we can start that kinda talking. Mett threw for 300 yards; Jennings hasnt done that yet why?

Anyone can search my Post history here on the Rant, I have said that from the time LF committed that he might be overshadowed by Hill's dominance. And that Hill would likely be our best ever Tiger RB in the NFL.
