If Ms. State loses today's game we have a shot. Being that they still have to play Ole Miss and Alabama. Auburn also has to lose to Ole Miss and Alabama. LSU wins out puts us with only 2 Losses. Ms. State has 3. Auburn has 3. Long shot but still alive.

Miss St does NOT need to lose three games. An Arkansas win would be nice, but LSU does not have to have it.

The ONLY things that LSU needs to win the West:

-LSU wins out
-Auburn over @Ole Miss
-@Georgia over Auburn
-@Bama over MissSt
-@Bama over Auburn
-@oleMiss over MissSt

These things are the ONLY things LSU needs, and LSU wins the West.

Again, MissSt does NOT have to lose 3 games. For that matter, neither does Auburn. Although because of Auburn's East opponents combined records, it would be cleaner/clearer if Auburn lost 3. But to re-iterate, we do NOT need MissSt to lose 3 games, as many people -including yourself - are implying.

First off I think LSU getting to Atlanta is a pipe dream, but if everything aligns, we as fans need UGA to be in Atlanta with 1 loss and already in the final four ratings prior to SEC Championship Game.

LSU has only Bama left to get "street cred" after that a 1 loss UGA team could help. Pigs and TAM will not help and could only hurt.

As I stated earlier, I'm waiting till LSU wins next week before I get into all the machinations of possible playoff scenarios. LSU has a good shot to win next week.
