dont know how weird this is by saying they are the same size just one is more athletic and faster

you compared a good SEC RB to a DE that hasn't played a snap of offense in college. Not saying they aren't the same size, just random that you chose him. You could have picked anyone that size. Just funny is all.

Uh, no.

Henry scares me much more than Yeldon. I don't know that this defense has seen a RB with his strength yet, and his speed is underrated because he's so big. Arm tackles aren't gonna get the job done. If our defense can stop him, then the transformation from being so soft early will be complete.

Dumbest thing I hear from people.

When we beat them you can be disappointed because they weren't 100%, I'll be excited for you idiots.

Yeldon will play and along with Henry gives them a formidable 1-2 punch. Simms is a fine runner as well. However, the ever-improving Tiger defense will make things tough for the Tide on the ground. Locking down Cooper and keeping him under 100 yards receiving will be the biggest task for the Tiger defense IMO.

The face one every day in practice that's just as strong, and faster. Not saying they will stop Henry, but his size and strength won't surprise us.

Bama's o-line isn't like it is in most years and they won't have C-Rob. Yeldon is a homerun threat. Henry is a monster but he's not a feature back just yet. He doesn't really do anything but run north and south. I'd like our chances if he was their main RB threat.

Kiffen has had a tendency to run Henry wide this year, as stupid as it sounds.

FWIW he isn't practicing all week. Really though, it doesn't matter. Alabama is loaded with athletes. Our defense is going to step up and hold them to a low score or not...

Agreed. And the Tiger defensive execution and tackling is vastly improved these last three weeks. Beckwith, Alexander, Hunter, and Adams all say No to arm tackling.

It probably doesn't mean much, but if he's in a boot, he's not working on agility and conditioning. Every little bit helps at this point in the season.

I never understand people who want to beat their competition when it's weak.

Hollow victory to me...

I think people want to beat their competition period. It is not the fault of Lsu that their opponent has injuries heading into the game, nor would it be the fault of Bama if Lsu had injuries coming into the game.

This ain't the ice capades, injuries are unavoidable. You can only play the team on your schedule.

In regards to the OP, Yeldon will be fine. Henry doesn't play the way his size should indicate yet. He is a nightmare if he can get to the second level but he doesn't have the acceleration to explode through the hole if it's not of substantial size. His top end speed is pretty silly for a dude his size, but he needs a head of steam to get there. He's pretty good at breaking the initial tackle but he can't make 2 guys miss in a phone booth like yeldon. Henry needs more space to be really effective. That said, he can't be fun to tackle all game.

Henry is there best back. He's not suspended. Plus, no other excuses. Bring it.

I'm much more worried about the screen and flare pass to Yeldon than Henry running over our defense. It seems like every time we play Alabama we struggle with covering passes to backs.

Have you watched Alabama this season? Yeldon is, by a huge amount, their best RB. Henry is physical and quick for his size.. his vision is poor and he runs better horizontally than he does north/south.
