They also run the longhorn network, when was the last time they ran a positive story about them. They prop up the best, just like they did USC during the Carrol years and OSU every time Herbie gets a chance, and Notre Dame when Holtz is on screen.

SEC network is going to a bigger money maker for ESPN than LHN. USC and the PAC 12 is tied to fox, tOSU with the BIG network and ND and NBC.

It can be argued that Texas A&M derived its lofty ranking through the first month of the season on the hype generated by the SEC Network's inaugural game broadcast, a 52-28 trouncing of a South Carolina team which, barely halfway through the season, already has four losses. The win immediately propelled the No. 21 Aggies to ninth in the Associated Press poll (South Carolina's previous ranking), and they eventually vaulted all the way to No. 6 on the strength of wins over Lamar, Rice, SMU and Arkansas before dropping their next three games by a combined 91 point

It was the first college game of the season and A&M thrashed a top 10 team, on the road, in front of a national audience. He's blaming ESPN for pollsters' inability to see into the future and see it had more to do with USCe being grossly overrated going into the year?

So you're saying all the positive pub is unwarranted? Like Fowler said they would love for there to be a dominate team in the Big. The ducks still get tons of love. It's best case scenario for them if they have a dominate team in every section of the country. Viewership goes up if the dominance is spread out. The Sec has been the big dog since 03 by proving it on the field thus you have to cover them a lot or you're being journalistically dishonest.

The SEC has played the best teams from the big 12, will played the best team from the ACC, and played the pre-season top 3 team in the Big 10. If other conference want some respect, then win those games.
