We are talking about a big arse Tiger. I for one am glad we have a Tiger with a set, he does what he wants.....like a boss

As boss as a captive tiger can be I suppose!

There is a very real concern that at some point it could get difficult for LSU to obtain a Tiger mascot due to protests from animal rights wack jobs.

Mike's habitat is excellent. But that mobile cage would be considered an object of scorn by the wack jobs.

The wack jobs want him back in the wild. He wouldn't last five minutes before he was arse raped by another tiger. He should be thankful to be at LSU and should load his lazy arse up seven times a year.

Sooooo... What happened with previous Mikes? You mean to tell may they used to bring the cage close to them...open it up...and they would go right in? Ya riiiigggghhhhhtttt. They obviously did something to get them in the cage that they aren't doing with this Mike...and I'm guessing it's for some ridiculous PC reason.

Crazy

Get him in the damn cage and into the stadium...it's not gonna kill him.

Maybe his ears hurt from all the cheering. Perhaps everyone can quiet down before the game and he will have the want to appear. I bet If they put a live hyena painted crimson red in that cage, he may be encouraged to get in it.

I saw him eating ole miss the other day, why can't they just feed him some elephant's arse on 11/8, but put it in his cage, hmmmm,

"here kitty, kitty, come get some of this delicious elephant's arse, just for you...yummy for your tummy, just step right into this cage Kitty Kat"

That would work, maybe someone in vet skool can go over and prod the freakin handlers. I think they the ones that need the cattle prod, not Mikey...

Posted by LSUDonMCO I believe that it has gotten to the point where his handlers don't even try to get him in the CAGE. They just issue a press statement. Is there any video of them trying to get him in the CAGE?

The stupid is strong with this one.

I know for a fact that they work with mike all the time on loading. Getting in the trailer isnt so much the problem anymore. Mike freaks the frick out when he gets in there and it isnt good for his well being.

I love the tradition of mike being on the field and im bummed everytime he isnt out there, but the people who say its his "job" to be out there are dumb as shite.

Why do we even have a tiger on campus? Oh yeah, he's our mascot. So yes, he is there on campus for the entertainment of the fans. Part of that entertainment should be to travel to the games right across the street.

Oh he has a job, sit in habitat and look regal.

Thousands and thousands of happy Tiger fans that have seen regal tiger then walk 10 feet to gift shop and buy LSU licensed merchandise.

University makes MILLIONS.

LSU benefits in no way by forcing that cat into the cage, financially or from a public perception standpoint.

I seem to recall that the Mike we had before this one was one of the most easy going tigers and he would actually walk right into the cage.

We should give Tony the truck stop tiger a shot at riding in the cage on gamedays. Mike gets to chill, Tony gets a field trip out of Grosse Tete and we get a tiger on the field. Everybody wins.
