This.

So many people I know will leave the game early due to not wanting to sit in 2+ hours of traffic to get home; especially with little kids. The only time people are willing to stay and just deal with the traffic is if it is a close game. But if the game is out of hand (winning or losing), people feel it isn't worth fighting the traffic to stay.

Make getting out of campus easier and people might just stay longer.

I think the traffic is the biggest issue and I don't know if there is a good solution. In my case there are many times when I don't stay in BR after the games. I drive home. When this happens I can't go straight to the interstate to head back home, I have to drive all the way through BR with traffic to get back to the interstate. This turns a 2 hour trip into a 3-4 hour trip after a night game!!

This is the no.1 reason people leave early. They dont want to sit in traffic for 1.5 hrs before even getting on I-10 to drive 45 mins back home after a day of drinking and eating.

At least make it predictable. Every time they tinker it gets worse.
