We had our next great QB but Miles pushed him out

Hayden Rettig should be our starter right now. He had put sufficient time in the system to be able to handle it. He has an incredible arm. But oh wait, he's not a "mobile quarterback" or whatever it is Miles is looking for. So he packed his bags and went somehwere that would welcome his talents. Terrible job by the coaching staff on that one

Rettig was the one departing QB I hated to see leave. Probably best for him though.

Don't expect Harris to sit behind Jennings for two years. He didn't look very enthused about mopping up.

That is my point. Mett was a slow, pro style qb. He was also the best qb we've had under miles. Why is miles so stubborn about having a mobile quarterback when we had the #1 rated pro style qb of his class on the roster.
