Get with the program!

I don't think talking about numbers or past relationships is an issue, if it's something you're going to judge the person for, well, frick you. I enjoy talking about my husbands ex's and conquests. I don't think he feels the same about mine. Maybe this is a man thing.

I don't make an issue of it. My wife seems to like to tell everyone that I fricked Tanya Tucker though.

This exact conversation has completely ruined two relationships.

There is nothing good that can come out of it. Deny deny deny.

Maybe the question isn't really should it be discussed; it's should you judge/care.

I can see it both ways. You're allowed to be picky when choosing a partner, and just like the things they do for fun, the hobbies/interests they have, etc. all lead into how compatible they are for you, how they view sex also factors into that.

It goes both ways. Like I said, there are plenty of people I can picture that I know are married and have pasts that they've chosen to keep to themselves. They are pretty happy in their marriages too. If you happen to be with someone that WILL get jealous about your past, maybe choosing to keep that to yourself is a good thing.

I have plenty of things (not sexually related) that I choose to keep for only me. That's okay too.
