Awful idea. When the public school teachers will let the parents visit them in their homes to determine if they're suitable teachers, then we can talk about this idea.

Lot of them in this thread, actually.

All I can say is, I was homeschooled K-12, got into A&M just fine, and got out with a degree. Played sports and got plenty of social interaction while homeschooled. In fact, most folks are shocked that my siblings and I were homeschooled if they didn't know us before college

It's not the answer for everyone, but I feel like it was great for me, personally.
