Pitt Vs. West Virginia 2007

Cheered harder and louder during that game for Pitt than any other non-LSU game in my life. Absolute miracle string of events to allow that National Championship to take place for LSU. Good times. LSU needed like 7 things to happen that last week to make it, anyone remember the entire string of events?

LSU beat Tenn
Oklahoma beat Mizz
Pitt beat West Virginia
We jumped Va Tech due to head to head win/thrashing....
What else? Anyone?

We also jumped a Georgia team ranked above us, who was a much hotter team at the time, due to us winning the SECCG and them not winning their division.

I remember the refs being terrible in favor of WVU. They were trying to give them the game. But yes, it was a miracle.
I remember the camera panning over the student section before the game and I saw a fan holding a sign saying "Thanks LSU" in reference to the Arkansas loss.

I was there that night too! I think Gordy was doing his radio show from the lobby after the game, if I'm remembering correctly.
