Holy shite! I don't remember that at all and have never seen that. That's hilarious.

He looks so odd on the court normally...let alone when he's chunking up 10 three pointers in a half...

that's fricking awesome….I was a die hard NBA fan at that age too I know I watched every single Bulls game on WGN and all the highlights on Sportscenter and I honestly remember none of that.

And half of them are from like 7 feet beyond the line.

Hahah. Yeah I didn't remember this at all either. I like the Suns bench is in shock and eventually just laughing.

I like the one where he travels. Guy goes to block his shot and he gets rattled. You are 7'7!

Manute was a class dude.

Bol was very active in charitable causes throughout his career. In fact, he said he spent much of the money he made during a 10-year NBA career supporting various causes related to the war-ravaged nation of his birth, Sudan. He frequently visited Sudanese refugee camps, where he was treated like royalty

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I was really into the NBA but I don't remember that.

Went to a Saints/Falcons game in Atlanta in '91 or '92.
The night before, went to see the Warriors (who were awesome back then) against the Hawks at the Omni.
It was a rout, and late in the 4th quarter Bol NAILED a 3-pointer and the crowd went wild.

My favorite was the camera angle from behind the backboard and Bol does this weird lean thing after he lets it go...lolworthy.

It's like a beer pong shot for him.

Barkley's body language on the 5th and 6th 3 pointers is priceless.

Sure was. The NBA as a whole was rather classy back then. Looking back, it's funny how Charles Barkley was labeled the biggest "thug" in the NBA during that era. Pretty much one of the most likable personalities associated with the NBA these days.

It's pretty awesome that we attracted Manute Bol's biographer to this thread.

well i read this thread, then went to see how many 3's he actually made.
He made 1 3pt from 1990-1992 so that stood out when i read that guys post.
His memory is just shot, because the Saints actually did play in ATL that weekend in 1989 when he hit the 3pointer.

More than I would of ever thought. One year he fired up 91 attempts.
88-89 he was 20 for 91. Guess he was feeling it.
