We've all been wondering why our dear leaders haven't banned flights from Sierra Leone and Liberia.

Probably because people would just come in by boat or land instead, making it even harder to track them and exposing them to even more individuals en route??

Just a thought.

Travelling those routes would greatly increase the incubation time for anyone infected, thus making them more noticeable once they hit the border. In that light, that's just another reason for the OP's idea.

Well we know they are not coming by land and if they came by boat they'd probably died of Ebola before they arrived here.

So you're in favor of tightening up the sea ports and land borders?

(How silly of me. Of course not. )
