Although I will say that if you can hop on a good ITIL cert that is worth having. A+ and even some MS certs at this point are handed out like food stamps.

But learning skills for what you want to do is paramount.. SSRS, MVC, ASP.Net, C#, C/C++, Java, Javescript, PHP, MVC frameworks (angular, bootstrap, etc) and MySQL is super important.
I could go on and on... I deal with this shite ALL DAY LONG.
