Update: fugitive still on the loose. Search has moved to the 4H Club area of Denham by the Amite.


This guy has been on the loose for quite a few days and they still cannot find him. He could have hopped the train or he could be lurking in the wooded area. It is a very thick area of woods.

I didn't know what was going on but I noted that it appeared they were looking for someone in that area when I drove over Central Thruway. Deputies on side of the road and a helicopter orbiting overhead.

Last update I heard was that he was spotted along Amite River and now they are searching along the Central Thruway & Greenwell Springs area.
