I have been throwing around the idea of getting the 128 gb version of this with a keyboard case. I've seen a few reviews for it and a few sites comparing/ contrasting it with a Macbook air, which I currently have, and can't decide if I should make the purchase.
Anybody here have one that can tell me how they like it as a tablet, e reader, laptop replacement?
I mainly like to download music, movies, and the like but also want to use it as an e reader. My Macbook Air is getting a little long in the tooth although still working fine for the most part. I've not downloaded torrents and used iTunes on a Windows machine in years. help me haha

I have one and love it. But I'm running enterprise-level applications on my Surface 3 for client demos. This thing will run anything that runs on Windows 8.1.
But if all you plan to do with it is music and movies, you really should get something less expensive.

I got one about a couple of weeks ago. I love it and it can definitely be a full laptop replacement as well as a good tablet. The one downside is the price, but it is priced against ultrabooks with similar specs (like the Macbook Air).
If you aren't worried about price, then a Surface Pro 3 would be great. If you are more budget conscious, then you could get by on a lot less like an Asus Transformer Book T100.

On my SP3 right now, I've had it for a couple of months now . I love it. My laptops done nothing but collect dust since then.
I agree with the previous posters. If you're just looking for a consumption device, there're cheaper options. If money isn't an issue and you want a tablet with full PC capabilities, then SP3 is a no brainer.
