I'm just not buying how little everybody other than Felicity is mourning Oliver.

They're probably still in denial. Maybe they'll lose Laurel too, but I doubt it.

No reason needs to be given for that.
Glad Oliver will be back next episode.

Amell just posted a facebook video with Brandon Routh promoting his charity and they spoke briefly about the atom suit with Routh saying "it's tight but awesome"

Good episode, but I can't wait for Oliver to get back. Next week looks like it's going to really hit it off. Not sure he'll be ready for full combat that quick though..
Also, I can't stand that Laurel won't tell her dad that Sara is dead. It's just cruel now..

The first thing that stuck out to me when they showed Oliver at the beginning of the episode was where is that sword through the chest wound? They had his stomach and arm wrapped, but nothing on the area where the final stab occurred. Maybe I missed it?
I think they did a good job showing Laurel getting her tail kicked. But I don't get why Diggle stayed back while Roy and Laurel tried to intercept the bad guy convoy. I guess he had to man the communications, but he's more experienced than either of them in combat.
It'll be interesting to see how long it takes Ra's to figure out that Maeso betrayed the League. I have a feeling that only one cut on the neck won't be enough to convince Ra's that Oliver incapacitated him.
ETA: And yeah, Laurel needs to go ahead and tell her dad. It's getting nuts...and annoying.

Seriously. What a cruel bitch that Laurel is

After two seasons of being apathetic to Laurels character I'm starting to warm up a little to her now that she's actually doing something. The whole "dont tell dad Sara is dead" thing seriously needs to end though, all it does is make Captain Lance look like a moron.
It's been a lot of fun watching Team Arrow operate without Oliver though. Seeing everyone step up even though they're dealing with so much grief was really satisfying tonight.
I am a little worried that next week Oliver will just swoop in and save the day at the end and kind of invalidate all the progress Team Arrow has made over the last two episodes.

It was a solid show tonight, but it just goes to show you this show is nothing without Oliver and Amell.

And the DJ is Leauge of Shadows. Hmmm

I thought it was cool how that twerp was a LOA dude. I can't wait to see how Thea learns Ollie is the Arrow though.

I think that tonight's episode showed that while they could put up a reasonable fight when/if they have to on their own, they still aren't anywhere close to being as good as they are with Oliver. I'm going to venture a guess like yours, that Team Arrow will mount up a fight against Brick, and possibly have it go to a standstill, and then Oliver drops on the scene and tips the scales (at least that is what the preview wanted us to think). Seems pretty cliche, but I have a feeling it'll go down close to that way

Oliver is da man and I love him for it. I think even a 50% Oliver is better than a 100% Arsenal.

Ole Roy gets his arse kicked almost as much as Laurel does.
I noticed that the news reporters that were covering the failed rescue attempt called Roy the "Red Arrow". I got to think of course they'd call him the Red Arrow since they wouldn't have a clue to call him Arsenal. I'm not sure why Roy and Oliver even bothered with coming up with the name since no one outside of Team Arrow would know about it.

I guess the name arsenal will have to take some time for it to get around, but who knows. I also wonder if Felicity will ever tell Oliver about Rays suit?

Does Ray know that Felicity works with the Arrow? I mean, with all the disappearing during normal working hours and helicopter borrowing and all, isn't he the least bit suspicious? Or did I miss the part where she told him about her Arrow work?
