If Miles wants a fan base he better change what ever isn't working instead of just doing the same shite every year. I just can't believe that Cam freakn Cameron is the one in control here. It's his job Les Miles let the man do his freakn job and mayb just mayb LSU will improve somewhat, or at least be competitive. That tells me everything I need to know right there. Who wants a coach that refuses the facts and truth?? I don't I want a coach that will do anything including admit he needs to step down in some parts of the game. He can be there to make the tuff decisions like going for it on 4th or not or going for two or actually managing the effing clock. Man this shite is getting old.

when you people watch the Patriots run a pitch or line up in the I, over and over again, do you think the same thing? that the game has passed Belichick by and that he sucks?

Well, he steals plays and they haven't won a Super Bowl in 10 years with one of the best QBs ever, so perhaps...
Sometimes coaches lose their edge too.

Yes, he is one of the best QBs ever. You remember when he went down in the 1st game and they still won 11 games?
They've missed the playoffs twice in the last 13 years with 5 super bowl appearances in that stretch.
His last 3 years have resulted in 2 AFC Championship appearences and a Super Bowl appearance. So washed up

It also makes the QB "block" the edge allowing one more blocker to get to the 2nd level and making sure shite like this doesn't happen

Man i love watching Jarvis Landry block on some of hills highlights
Not my favorite play, but it has been effective when our oline has been good. It allows a RB to adjust to his blocking since he has more time. Good for short yardage/GL since he's close to top speed and can get a clean jump
I like it a lot better than giving the ball to the FB near the goalline - damn Copeland vs. Bama

Any time you pitch the ball there's an inherent risk of a fumble.
Uhhh handoff has the same risk except its closer to the line of scrimmage. Also, shotgun snaps have a risk but the advantaged outweigh.

Anyone catch the 3rd and 3 where it ended in a cloud of dust and it was then 4th down....then the camera goes to Les and his mouth goes to the mic on his headset and he says..."why didn't we pass"? Rewound it a few times and each time, that's what it looked like to me and 3 other people in the room. Thought that was interesting.

It was a joke. Of course he is still a good coach (though they still don't have any Lombardi Trophies in the last 10 years).
They won 11 games that year, but didn't make the playoffs. They were undefeated the year before. Brady is a 2-time NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP and 9-time pro bowler.

It's a really effective play if it's ran correctly. Former LSU O-Line have said so.
It does allow the back to get the ball quicker. Ridley having the ball quicker in 2010 against Tennessee on the last play may have allowed him to make the defender miss and score.
I don't know what other positives it brings, though.
