Looking for a little amp advice
What I Have
• A 1976, 25w Pioneer SX-636 stereo receiver
• A pair of passive Q Acoustics 3030i bookshelf speakers on 24” speaker stands wired with regular RadioShack speaker wire
• Audio Technica LP-60 turntable connected to the Pioneer by RCA jacks into the phono jacks
• An older Samsung LCD television (it does have USB & HDMI ports)
• An Apple TV 4K connected to TV via HDMI
• Spotify free membership - no other streaming services - I’ve got a hard drive full of music that I’d like to be able to play thru this system.
How I Use It
• Stream from AppleTV to TV or stream from iPhone to AppleTV and use the TV’s speakers
• Play vinyl
• Play phone/laptop (Spotify) thru Pioneer’s AUX channel via RCA to 1/8” jack or 1/8” jack to lightening adaptor
• Setup is in the bedroom so watching TV is in bed, listening to music is either in bed (low to med volume) or in other rooms in the house (low to med to med-high volume)
What I Think I Want
• Keep Speakers - TV - Apple TV
• Probable upgrade to turntable
• Replace Receiver with amp and something I can steam to (Bluetooth) maybe combined?
How I Want to Use It
• I need something with a little more wattage (70w max) so I can make these speakers work a little. 25w is the minimum that will power them.
• I don’t need a stereo receiver as I don’t listen to the radio anymore. I’d like something with a smaller footprint than the Pioneer (19”x5.7”x16”)
• Utilize the speakers when I watch TV.
• Retain all inputs (turntable, stream to amp from phone, use cord to amp from laptop)
Other Information
• Budgets - under $600 and the same for the amp/steamer/Bluetooth component - if a better option is lower than this budget all the better.
