This is such a shite walking town. I should be able to walk from Team Honda to CC's without grass and mud on my shoes.

Yea, you're dumb. Baton Rouge is a shite hole of a town when it comes to public transportation, and alternative travel infrastructure.

Even Monroe has sidewalks on most of the major streets.

Most of the newer or widened Baton Rouge streets have sidewalks.

Rex has a legitimate criticism, but he's an idiot for expecting BR to accommodate. South and East Baton Rouge is sprawl, plain and simple. Don't like it, don't live there. As bad of a walking city as Baton Rouge is, there are neighborhoods that are quite walk-able. Seigan will never be one of them.

Siegen is actually one of the few major roads in that area where it is partially sidewalk at best.

Tried to do a long run last time I was there then about halfway thru realized the majority of the streets don't have sidewalks, bike lanes, or shoulders. That town is a shithole.

They just redid the I-10 and Siegen intersection... Did they bother with pedestrian concerns? frick no. I would like to be able to walk to Siegen Marketplace, too.

By the way... I think all of this is outside the city limits.

Most people are too fat to use sidewalks.

I like to walk. It's why I'm still such a gorgeous creature at age 61.

well that would make the political board much less interesting

Weird intersection.

weird is not a strong enough adjective for that intersection
