i'd eat don's boudin everytime it was offered to me
its decent....its just not the best

Alot of places that are "The Best" according to the Times really isn't the best. IMO.
Don's being one of them.

I prefer. Dons has a nice meat market although slightly overpriced.

Well this is all just a matter of opinion, but in my opinion Don's is better than Best Stop. BS used to be my go-to for Boudin, swamp dust, and the Best Stop seasoning - the one with the red label.
Since I have had Don's boudin and started using La Fish Fry cajun seasoning instead of Best Stop's I will rarely stop at BS anymore. Just to get their swamp dust.

They both have their faults. Dons the seasoning can vary way too greatly. You can go there and get a link that lights your arse on fire then the next time its bland. (They seem to always have fresh crackling though)
Best Stop sometimes the ratios vary. But I tend to prefer to get it smoked there anyways.
Billys is far better but everyone else figured that out and they are slow as shite sometimes.

When I saw your first demonstrative post I figured you lived in Lafayette and had tried all of them. Either that or you were part owner of Best Stop or Billy's or one of the many other boudin shops.

nah, i've just had enough to know that don's isnt the best
i rank billy's and best stop above don's, but theres a lot of other places I need to try to finish off my boudin bucket list

As I am sitting in Scott right now, and frequently get boudin from all of them, I will say that the times of acadiana got it wrong.
