It always boggles my mind how the majority has been convinced that crowding growing children by the dozens into classrooms 7 hrs/day and holding them all to identical standards is normal.
What could be be more bizarre and unnatural than that? Every instinct of a developing human is to explore and discover. Traditional school just battles those instincts, and murders the right side of the brain.
Step back and think about it.

It's mostly because most homeschoolers are super quiet and are held out of school for religious reasons. Not all, but most.

No it's not. My gf's little brother was home schooled from 7th grade on. He's a weird little fricker. He is 30 years old, has no friends, never had any friends, still lives with parents, has no car, no real job (he has passed his real estate broker test but I think he's only closed one deal ever), I don't think he's ever had a girlfriend, etc. He's just weird. He follows him mom around like a puppy. Now I know that's not entirely due to home schooling, but I think it was a majorly contributing factor.
