So back to my post. Has anyone ever heard of running a sink through the sprinkler line?

you should be able to plumb a sink off any water line in your house...

as far as the drain goes, since it is not really sewage, you could do something as simple as dig a hole about the size of a 55 gallon drum and fill it with gravel...run the water into there...

Water is water. The water in your sprinkler system is the same as the water going to your kitchen sink. Doesn't really matter where you tie into the system.

The big question is, do you have two meters on your house? If you look at your water bill you will notice that there is a charge for sewer fee{I live in Dallas so I know it is true} The main benefit to having a separate sprinkler line is that you do not pay sewer which is almost the cost of the water. As far as running an outside sink off the sprinkler line, I do not see a problem other than no hot water and where will the run off go?
