Yep she was really good. I thought it was an amazing movie as well.

Just saw it and really liked it. Everyone gave great performances. Really loved Tyler Perry, not completely sold on NPH though.

He was perfect. Didn't expect that from him.

This was my least favorite casting of the movie. And I really felt like the fact that he is gay in real life was distracting because he was playing such a sissy.

Gilpin's character may have been a little cheesy too. Overall, was really impressed. Normally I hate it when a book I like gets adapted, but I enjoyed it a lot. Not Fincher's best work though. Falls somewhere behind Se7en, Zodiac and Social Network for me. 7.5 or 8/10 would recommend.

Rosumund Pike should win Best Actress for this role.
Ben should definitely get nominated, if not win himself.
They were just awesome.
Tyler Perry was even great in this movie. That's how great the movie is.

You have to let all the other movies come out first.

So I finished the book today and we're going to go out this weekend and see it.
My wife wanted me to know how it made me feel at the end. I said a little depressed and broken inside, but a great read. She then asked me to spoil it and after arguing about it, I did.
She said "that's the most depressing thing I've ever heard and I will not see that with you."

I actually just started reading the book tonight. I'll be done this week, and then I'll go see the movie again.

There are already rumblings about a sequel, book & movie. I know the cop was not satisfied with how the wife's story came out, so mabe she'll get more involved next time?

Another thought I always pictured Adrien Brody as Desi. NPH just didn't seem right - and I like him a lot.
