Supply and demand rather than setting the price and letting the secondary market gain the profit of rising demand.
It's pretty common other markets, i can see it working if applied correctly but I think secondary markets will still be what they are.

They have been doing this in ML baseball for a couple years now.
I love the idea, problem is I don't think they properly adjust the prices down for shitty games.

They don't. I mean you would think it would be in their best interest to try to pack the stadium for shitty games, regardless of what they get for tickets, because at least that way they can make $ on parking, food, drinks, merchandise etc.
