With BH's mobility & ability to throw on the move, I think you'll see a other receivers getting more throws their way, ie, Quinn & Diarse. When his first read is covered, BH moves but keeps his eyes downfield, he's looking for someone to get open. I think Quinn becomes a safety outlet receiver for BH when he starts scrambling; his speed is going to give him some opportunities to "play himself" open.

Diarse had one catch on a quick throw, but it's the type of call I'd like to see us incorporate more.

SEC defenses normally take away your 1/2 options
They will get targeted

We need to take advantage of mismatches, whoever that may be at the time. I know Les despises that common sense approach, so I won't be holding my breath.
That's a stretch. It's up to the qb to take advantage of mismatches by using his progressions, recognizing mismatches, and targeting properly.

Yea the trial will be if BH will look to #2 or #3 after #1 and if the line gives him time. Let's face our O-line hasn't been that good this year. Or it could be that AJ just didn't make decisions quick enough. I believe that is a big difference between the 2 QBs.

Smith hasn't been targeted much in his young LSU career, but to be honest, when he has been targeted, he's dropped the ball. That goes back to his first game against TCU when he dropped a TD pass in the EZ early. Not helping himself there.

Dural is the best WR on the team

By the end of the year, its gonna be Dupre. And Dupre is going to help open up things for Dural a lot. You cant double team Dural anymore with the emergence of Dupre, which will help open things up deep for Dural.

But Quinn and Diarse are inside / slot WRs IMO. And both will be playing a lot with Harris at the QB spot. I agree with your Quinn assessment, thats how I see him going forward. And Diarse role will be similar to Quinns IMO, but will be that WR that goes across the midde and does his work in the middle of the field.

It seems that we will be very talented on the offensive side of the ball for the next few years...too many weapons to lock onto to just one player...should be better than just having two "go to" guys like last year...
CCC needs to get TE's involved in the passing game also...find one of them that can hang onto a ball and throw it to them...LSU hasn't had a TE play very long in the NFL in a long time...

That is how I would start the auburn game, lots of play action with one guy going long, one intermediate and one short all cris crossing each other, all Harris has to do is watch the safeties for the long ball, and I think the intermediate and short crossing patterns will be open all night. Start with quick throws and bubble screens to Diarse and Quinn and run the ball. Keep the safeties back with the illusion of the long ball until they start biting of course. I really could call plays lol
