Get a few different color lights to use, sometimes the yellow works or a whiter color.

The pier I was on had 2 lights on nightly about 20 ft apart and casting just outside the light seemed to work the best.

Usually smaller trout early with some larger ones showing up later.

Fish did not normally bite before 10 pm and you could catch them early am as well normally.

I lived there a lot one year and it all kinda blurred together, so take what it all with a grain of salt.

My goal for the night fishing was normally dinner for tomorrow night or a few nights, so I did not usually stay out too long.

Great advice,we will definitely have some lines in the water and drink a few brews. Knowing the crew im going with, we will prob stay up late so hopefully we will have a little action too!
