THE INSANITY of thinking that asking an a-hole not to be an a-hole will actually work... It's like putting up a sign, "No Gun Zone" will stop a criminal... "Oh crap... this is a no Gun Zone, Joe, we can't commit our crimes with our guns, leave them in the car while we rob this 7-11" Even more insane, asking fans not to be fanatical... The frustration of being a LSU fan right now is the same we saw back in the 60's and 70's with Cholly Mac and there was booing then too. But then and now beat the Archer/Hallman/Nardo years... I would never boo to show my frustration of my team... But I also don't need to pass a law to get others to behave the way I do.

Booing isn't fair to Jennings, but Jennings playing isn't fair to Harris after the chest he showed against Moo St. So what to do?

I think it all depends on your perspective.
I was pissed at Miles for keeping AJ out there. And I think its common sense that the majority were as well. So when AJ trots back out there after a fumble and two ints, i doubt any more than a small minority were booing AJ.
If you want to spin it as "LSU fans booing players" then I think you just have an agenda. It wouldnt make sense to boo AJ. I dont think anyone at LSU has a problem with him. He didnt kick a dude in the head at a bar or anything like that.

Since there have been so many threads about booing and people getting tired of them and fans are being called “dolts, asses, trash, shitty, jerks, terrible, fricking stupid, tacky and a-hole’s, and that’s just in this thread alone, LSU fans at the game need to do something different. Instead of booing to “voice displeasure”, don’t make a sound. Complete silence in the stadium. Don’t cheer, yell, scream or boo, just sit there. Can you imagine the eerie feeling that would bring about having a stadium full of people and no noise?

I'm not sure if the boo's were intended for Jennings or Miles. Personally, me, I was booing Miles. Jennings was flustered bad, his wits were not about him and his confidence was being destroyed. Miles-though I understand he wanted the guy to stay in and regain some confidence-needed to go to Harris sooner. Just my opinion. Miles has always come across, to me, as being defiant when it comes to the wishes of other's. But, as the case seemed last week, had he went with Harris sooner LSU may have, and probably would have, beat MSU. Just my opinion.

I was just talking to my buddy about this very thing. He chewed some guy out in the stadium for doing it, and I heard it very clearly on TV. To top that off, my gf had to explain why people were booing him to some 10 year old boy scouts working in 102. We all agreed that we would rather lose the game than have the kid get booed.

I don't boo and am indifferent about those that do boo. If a guy wants to boo kids then that's on him. I am curious to know however what any of you are going to do about it other than start threads on tigerdroppings whining about it.

I've never booed a single person at a single sporting event ever, well except for the opposing team running in and the refs. But everyone bitching about it so much makes me want to go do it. Quite fricking whining about it. They're all grown men out there. They can all vote, join the military and a lot can legally drink. Last time I checked they weren't a bunch of bleeding vaginas.
