8 cups finely chopped cabbage
1/4 cup carrot shredded
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup buttermik
1 1/2 tbsp. white vinegar
2 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
Combine all ingredients, beat until smooth. Add cabbage and carrots. Mix well. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Kicked up Cole Slaw add:
1/4 red onion minced
2 green onions chopped
1 jalepeno minced
dash hot sauce
pinch cayenne
1/4 tsp. celery salt
We use cole slaw mix instead of the first two ingedients.

Instead of using mayo to make a slaw, use Cousin's Creole Tomato Dressing
