You do realize the last seven years would include 2007.

My mistake for not being more specific.

If you include this season, then we have 1 SEC Championship, 0 national titles, and 0 major bowl victories in the last 7 seasons.

He wants to count this year so it makes his stats look worse. A true 7 year look back has us with two SEC titles, one national title, one loss in a championship game and four bowl wins.

With 80+ wins

It does look worse.

7 seasons. 1 conference title. 0 major bowl wins.

That's not elite by any measure.

Please come up with more biased agenda driven statistics so you can shite all over and discredit any and all success of the team you claim to be a "fan" of.

What kind of program do you think Miles inherited?

One that had just won a MNC and was loaded with NFL talent.

So loaded they won another title just after less started.

Lots of hardware back then.

Now, not so much.

That being said, we have very little margin for error. Les cannot continue to coach the way he has done in the past because our line is not good enough to overpower 8/9 in the box and our interior defense is mediocre.

We need a balanced offense and may them pay if they try to stack the box by burning them with Dural, Dupre, Diarse, Quinn and (gasp) a pass catching TE. On defense, we have to compensate for our front 7. The DBS have to be able to lock down the passing game so we can scheme to stop he run.

Les did none of the above and as a result we lost. In fact, it's almost like he did it purposefully it was that so undeniably wrong.

Speaking of reactionary chicken little pussies.

This guy's type is one of the reasons I've lost that aura I used to have about lsu fans as a whole. So many are just fricking terrible like him.

This.

After just 3 seasons at LSU, Miles already had a national title, a Sugar Bowl victory, and a SEC Championship.

In the 7 seasons since then (including this season), he has one SEC Championship and nothing else.

Nothing you posted outside perhaps the thread title was untrue.

It's a discouraging time and IMO it's gonna get worse before it gets better.

So its either elite or mediocre? Nothing in between? Not sure if you know what mediocre really means. Cincinnati is a mediocre team. Pitt is a mediocre team. LSU is def better than "mediocre".

Our DTs and OL are a problem. More worried about our DTs than OL because we have a lot of talent on the OL and returned 4/5 starters from last year. We shouldnt have started like we have, but I would think we settle down at OL. DTs is another issue.

All it takes is 1 switch to improve our rush D. Beckwith in for Welter and we are a lot better. Beckwith played 2 series in the backend of the 1st half vs Miss St, and we actually stopped them and forced them to go 3 and out. But for some reason, Welter stays out there in the 2nd half and we get destroyed. And also, gotta look at who we have played. Wisky and Miss St are 2 of the best rushing O in the country. And I think Wisky is ranked #1 in Rush O and Miss St is like 15th.

Offense will improve if we get the right QB in the game which will help us be more versatile and creative with the play-calling. With Jennings in the game, a good D isnt worried about our passing attack. Take away the deep ball from Dural and you pretty much force us to become a 1 dimensional offense and teams know that so they stack the box. Jennings doesnt really look anywhere else. He looks for the deep ball and holds the ball too long because it takes so long to develop, then is running around and tries to scramble and hes not that good at that. Harris can beat you with his arm. Stack the box vs him and he will hit our WRs all game long. He will keep D honest and we will be a much more balanced offense, which will open up the running lanes.

2 personnel changes would drastically improve our team.

And I don't know that we have the talent, coaches or HEART for that kind of turn around!

We are loaded with young talent... but thats what they are. YOUNG talent. They will make mistakes and get beat... but they will learn and grow and become better for it. Anybody thinking we were going to be undefeated before the season started needs help.

Are we an elite team? No. Are we a good team? Yes. Better than mediocre. And will get better as the season goes on and our young players gain experience, learn from mistakes, grow and improve.

No the team he inherited had just lost 3 games.LSU hadn't lost less than 3 games but once since 1987. Stop acting like Miles inherited a top 5 program because it's just not true.

So Miles did better with Saban's players than Saban did.

We just won the SEC in 2011.
Since Miles hiring , no west team has more divisional or sec titles.
Its hard to win the west. In the last 11 years ,8 sec west teams have played in the bcscg and two of the other teams were a Florida team that lsu plays every year.

He also doesn't account for Sabans shitty recruiting in that year he left. He wants to say miles won with Sabans players but doesn't want to acknowledge them in that 4th year. That's because he's a fricking imbecile though.

Its comical the lengths some "fans " will go to discredit Miles.
