I saw the sunset a couple nights ago from the Plaquamine ferry, not a bad way to go.
Sunrise is great over a plant with a big arse flare.

That's not a bad idea. Thanks.

There is a decent shot from the abandoned docks in BR with the bridge and a cropping of industrial buildings with a water tower saying "Welcome to Baton Rouge"
Certain parts of the year the sun sets "at" the far side bridge landing.

Lake Charles with camera pointed over the lake toward the plants in Westlake.

Spillway off Airline in Laplace. Norco in the background.
Not a chemical plant, but the old Entergy coal power plant south of the Convention Center in downtown NOLA.
I think it was the inspiration for the sugar mill/restaurant in Disney's Princess Frog movie.

This park was built by Shell Chemical for the children of NORCO. Ironically, the sign reads:“WELCOME. This playground has been designed for children 2-5 years of age. Adult supervision is required. PLAY IT SAFE.”

Sunset over the Marsh and bayou in Cocodrie was at one point in time in the top 10 in a magazine years ago.
